Pilates - the perfect partner to your yoga practice!
My Pilates journey is a little different than my yoga one… (but I’m just as obsessed!)
Back in my early yoga days, when I was so craving nervous system regulation and a practice that would calm me down and help soften my slight “A type” personality; Pilates had felt a little too… structured. Too focused on what to do and what not not do, too much “this way or the high way”.
Then one day in early 2024 our life changed overnight. As I pressed pause on everything and tried to find peace in meditation and my yoga practice… I realized that alongside the peace, the quiet and the alone time to heal, I needed fire to balance it out.
As I lay on my back on the mat in my local studio, I felt the gratitude course through my body. I was grateful to be alive, grateful for a strong and able body and grateful for the fire I could feel moving through my cells. As I sent my quiet thanks to the universe, I declared that this practice too, would be one that I would learn to teach and share with others.
